How to Calibrate Silhouette Cameo 4 ?

The calibration is a lengthy process that requires full understanding to complete. In addition, you can face several problems during the calibration, which can be not getting the perfect cuts, software glitches, not following the right process, and more. 

These are the simple stepwise instructions you can follow if you want to calibrate your Silhouette Cameo 4 machine correctly. 

  . Access an empty canvas in the Silhouette Studio app on your device.

  . After that, select the Send option on the top right side of the screen.

  . Head to the bottom left side to click on Test and then select Calibration. 

  . Next, the intersected lines will appear on the canvas.

  . Choose the Print Test Page option. 

  . Furthermore, you need to insert the printed page into the Silhouette Cameo 4 machine.

  . With the help of the arrow buttons on your machine, set the lines in Tool 1, as shown below.

  . Then, head to your PC and select Calibrate to begin the process.

  . Next, you need to wait for the cut process to complete and then take out the sheet.

  . Inspect the cut lines: if the cut is not perfect, then click on the Distance Adjustment on the PC.

  . Fit the page again into the cutting machine and select the Cut Test Lines option.

  . After that, remove the paper from the machine when the test cut is complete and measure it with a scale.

  . Choose those measurements in the app.

  . You should wait for the cut process to complete and then take out the sheet. 

  . Select the Exit and click on the Test > Calibration option once again.

  . In addition, insert the page upside down into the machine and select Calibrate.

  . Take a look at the cut and make the necessary adjustments if necessary.

  . Make sure to repeat the process until you see the perfect cut right in the middle of the lines.
