How to Use Cricut Explore Air 2 With Phone

Cricut Explore Air 2 machine connects easily to a PC and a phone running the prominent OS devices. The process is straightforward but includes several steps. Therefore, if you want to connect your device to a phone, then it is good to acquire the proper understanding beforehand. Below is the proper procedure you can use for that. 

Enable Bluetooth

  . Firstly, turn on the Cricut Explore Air 2 by pressing the power button on the right. 

  . Now, grab your phone, go to Settings, and tap on Bluetooth.

  . Next, you should enable Bluetooth by sliding the toggle to the right.

  . After that, you can see various options. Find the name of your device and tap on it.

  . Then, wait for the connection to complete, and you’re ready to use the machine with your phone.

Download and Install Cricut Design Space

  . Once you've connected the Cricut Explore Air 2 to your phone via Bluetooth, you must install the Design Space app.

  . For that, open the App Store on your phone and search for Design Space. Once you find the application, click on the “Get” button.

  . Let the download complete; it can take a while depending on your network speed. 

  . Once the software download is complete, open the app. 

  . In case you already have a Cricut account, click Sign In. You must create a new account if you have never used Design Space.

  . Now, you will be jumped to a new page when you click the Sign In button. Click on Done on the same page.

  . Select the machine you are using. Click on the “Cricut Explore Family” option.

  . Next, select Connect to connect to Bluetooth.

  . After that, the Design Space app may prompt an update if the machine isn’t on the latest version. Wait for a couple of minutes for the update to finish.

  . Keep following the further instructions to complete the app installation process.
