How to Change Blade on Cricut Explore Air 2?

If your blades start to give the unsatisfied or wrong cuts then you should sharpen them using an aluminium foil. Also, when the blades completely wear out then it is time to replace them. Before you learn about the Cricut Explore Air 2 blade changing process below are the quick steps you should keep in mind-
Store the used blades in a secure container or disposal unit. This can save you and others from getting injured.
Place the machine on a flat, even surface to prevent slips or falls while changing the blade.
Always turn off and unplug your machine before you start.
Firmly hold the blade housing while replacing the blade to avoid dropping or slipping.
If your blade housing requires a tool to tighten or loosen, use the right tool provided by Cricut or recommended in the manual.
Now, carefully follow these steps to seamlessly change the blades of your Explore Air to machine.
First you need to move to your machine and press the Open button.
Then, you should open the accessory clamp B.
After that, pull out the blade housing.
With the help of the protective cover of the new blade to carefully remove the old one first.
Now, you have to push the plunger on top of the housing.
With the new blade’s protective cover to remove the old blade.
Put the cover back on the new blade.
Now, you should push the plunger again.
Also, insert the shaft of the new blade in the housing.
Attach the housing back into the accessory clamp B.
Finally, close the housing.
