How to Setup the Cricut Maker

 

Do you want to set up your Cricut Maker machine and get started? The setup of the Cricut Maker machine is simple, but you can face numerous problems during the process. These are the comprehensive steps you can follow to quickly complete the setup without facing any issues.

. Unbox your Cricut machine and open its top lid, and the bottom lid will also open.

. Take out the Styrofoam from the carriage, also known as the Adaptive Tool System.

. Now, go to the web/internet browser and visit the official Cricut Setup page.

. Choose Cutting Machine, agree to the terms of use and privacy policy, then click Download Now.

. Head to the downloaded file, then drag and drop Design Space into the Applications folder.

. Launch your Applications folder, open Design Space, and click Open if you get a pop-up prompt.

. Click on Sign in and then log in to your Cricut account using the account credentials or create a new account.

. When you’ve filled out all the information, select the terms of use and privacy policy box, and click Create Cricut ID.

. Now, click on Smart Cutting Machine, then choose Cricut Maker.

. Go to the Prepare Workspace screen, follow the instructions, and click the next arrow button.

. When it prompts you to find an outlet, insert the power cable into the machine and the wall outlet, turn on the machine, and click the next arrow.

. Next, you should insert the USB cable into the machine and the computer.

. Choose the Select Cricut Maker drop-down and select your Maker.

. If you wish to connect to the computer via Bluetooth instead of USB, navigate to Settings and go to Bluetooth.

. Follow the further prompts, and the setup process will be complete.
