How to Setup the Cricut Autopress

You can follow the below procedure to quickly complete your Cricut machine setup process and start using it for your connection. 


  • Initially, you should take the power cord out of the box. 

  • Then, insert one end of the power cord into the back of the Cricut Autopress and the other into a power outlet.

  • Move to your computer or other device and open the Cricut Design Space app. 

  • Now, select the three lines on the upper right-hand corner, and go to New Product Setup.

  • On the next page choose Cricut Head Press. 

  • Furthermore, you should connect the USB cable from the controller to your computer.

  • In addition, attach the cord’s USB end into your computer.

  • Choose your Cricut Autopress and follow the on-screen prompts. (The progress of this can be monitored on the controller.)

  • When the setup is successful, unplug the controller from your computer and plug the USB cable into the machine.

  • After that, your Cricut Autopress is now ready to use.

  • You need to press the power button on your machine to get started.
