How to Connect Silhouette Cameo to Computer?

Connecting the Silhouette Cameo to a computer is one of the initial steps before you can start using the cutting machine for your crafts. However, it is also essential to prepare before initiating the connection process. First, you need to determine which connection method you want to use. Connecting via a USB cable is a dependable method. If you own a Cameo 3 or Cameo 4 model, you can use the Bluetooth connection. Don’t forget to install Silhouette Studio software- go to the official Silhouette website and download the latest software version. Check that your power supply is functioning properly and that the Silhouette Cameo is turned on.

Now, you are ready to begin the connection process. If you have a Windows computer, press the Start button on your keyboard and type “Bluetooth” in the search bar. Open Bluetooth & Other devices, and check if Bluetooth is on or not. Enable it and click on Add Bluetooth or other device, and select Bluetooth in the Add a Device window. Tap the Bluetooth icon on the Cameo to activate Bluetooth. The icon will turn blue, and once the Bluetooth is activated, your device name should appear in the list on your computer. As you see your device, click on it and it will start connecting. After it is connected, a message will be displayed: “Your device is ready to go!” Click on Done.
