How to Set Up Cricut Heat Press?

These are the essential steps that you should know when performing the Cricut heat press setup: 

  • Start by downloading the Cricut Heat app on your phone, if you haven’t. 
  • Go to your Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS), and download the app.
  • Once the app is installed, open it and tap the icon in the top left.
  • Select “My Cricut HeatPresses.”
  • Next, you need to tap on “Set Up New Heat Press.”
  • Your phone will now search for the nearby machines.
  • On the heat press display panel, the “APP” text will start to blink. This means that the Cricut is trying to connect to the Cricut Heat app.
  • Check your phone, and you’ll now see the press is trying to connect. 
  • Now tap the “Connect” option on the right side of your machine’s name.
  • Check the “I agree to Terms of Use” box, and tap on “Activate.”
  • After you’re done with that, a “Success” message will show up on your device. 
  • Under the message, tap on Done. Your device will be connected to your heart press machine. 

Once you have completed the setup, you can start using the press for your projects. But before you can start with your crafts, check the press settings and gather all the necessary tools and materials. See that you are working on a clean and flat surface, and you must not forget to preheat the material that you’ll use.
