How to Use Cricut Hat Press?

The Cricut Hat Press in your crafting kit can enhance your DIY projects, delivering cleaner, clearer detail. But what’s the right way to use it? Here are the basic instructions to know for using the Cricut Hat Press: 

  • Power on your Cricut Hat Press. 

  • On your mobile device, launch the Cricut Heat application. 

  • Tap on Sign in and fill in your Cricut ID in the given field. 

  • The Cricut Heat app will start detecting your Hat Press machine. 

  • Once it connects, you need to select your transfer material and hat type in the app itself.

  • After that, send the settings to the machine and wait for the beep sound. 

  • Get your hat and unfold the sweatband.

  • Securely place the Hat Form on the hat. 

  • Preheat for 3 to 5 seconds.

  • Apply your design to the hat using heat-resistant tape. Secure the edges perfectly.

  • Once you have placed the design and are satisfied with the placement, press the Start button and start pressing. 

  • Move the press gently from side to side. Make sure the entire area is covered. 

  • Once the beep sound happens, remove the press and place it back in its safety base. 

  • Let the hat cool for a while. Peel off the carrier sheet to reveal your finished design.
